The Philosophy

At Good to Glow, we believe skincare should be straightforward, honest, and effective, which is why transparency is the heart of everything we do. We choose high quality ingredients that are carefully selected based on how they are processed and what they can do for your skin, avoiding any that can form toxic byproducts. Our formulas harness potent New Zealand extracts, carefully selected vitamins, skin barrier-loving actives, and non-comedogenic oils that nourish without clogging pores. You won't find PEGs, ethoxylated ingredients, Parabens, or phthalates in our products, and all our facial leave-on treatments are always fragrance-free.

Why PEG-Free & Ethoxylated Free?

We noticed a common pattern in the skincare market: beautiful bottles filled with PEGs (Polyethylene Glycols) and other ethoxylated ingredients. These are widely used as emulsifiers (which mix oil and water together forming creams), foaming agents, and texture enhancers to build a formula. However, the process of ethoxylation leaves behind impurities that are potentially harmful to your health. While manufacturers are expected to test for these contaminants, they are not tested in every batch, and a trace amount is often deemed acceptable. This is why being merely "PEG-free" is not enough-many ethoxylated ingredients that consumers can’t easily identify still make their way into product lists.

At Good to Glow, we stand for uncompromising purity. Our formulas are entirely PEG-free and ethoxylated-free. We use minimally processed, non-comedogenic oils that mimic the skin’s natural sebum, ensuring your glow comes from health, not a coating of synthetically processed ingredients.

Why Paraben & Phthalate Free?

Caring for your skin is our priority at Good to Glow, which is why we are incredibly selective about what we put in our products. That's why we choose to formulate without Parabens and Phthalates. Parabens are commonly used as preservatives but have raised consumer concern due to their potential role as endocrine disruptors. Similarly, Phthalates, found in some fragrances are linked to health concerns and simply don't align with our dedication to clean, nurturing formulas. By avoiding these ingredients, we ensure you get a product that is both effective and aligns with our high standards for safety and purity.

New Zealand is home to some of the most potent botanical extracts on Earth, and we built our entire collection on this powerful foundation. We’ve harnessed the healing properties of Manuka Honey, Manuka Leaf Extract, and Black Fern Extract, combining them with the calming essence of other local extracts and the power of essential vitamins, hydrating, and soothing ingredients.
